i was about to preorder but since they force me to buy value pack for 250
i'll spend that money for an ipod

I mean...its seems like a nice machine...much better than DS...but man...how will the UMD work??????

UMD is just like a mini CD with a plastic unique shell surround it. I have to admit, after using the PSP for a month now, i'm still amaze at the quality and power that little thing puts out.

ordered mine in store and can't wait til the US release... I do hope that one day sony would think of making the UMD a consumer device with like UND-RWs since the sizes of the memory stick duos are kinda low (highest i've seen is 1GB). I don't mind the bundle, but i do wish they would have just given people a game instead of spiderman 2 on UMD.

Well Spiderman should cost people about 20$ while a game is 50$.

I went ahead and pre-ordered my US PSP and two games along with it. Metal Gear Ac!d and Untold Legends

enderet are you going to sell your japanese PSP when you get the US version??? I am definately getting the US version. The value pack to me is too much marketing hype, but I will still get it anyways. I have a dvd collection of about 350 right now and Spiderman is surprisingly not in it. So it will be fun to watch it on the PSP and I am excited for it. I think 250 is still justifiable considering what you get. I really thought PSP would be 300 until it hit Japan.
