| Sony loosening up in regards to PSP dead pixel policy... Even thought the psp manual states that dead pixels are not a defect but just a normal result of the screen manufacturing process, it seems as if sony is loosening up in regards to their previously stated "no exchanges for dead pixel units" policy...

my local gamestop here in nyc refuses to exchange a psp unit unless it has 10 dead pixels or more, even if you paid for the extra gamestop warranty.
for others who bought from retailers with such a draconian policy, i suggest you take this article back to the store and let them know that if sony is willing to take it back and exchange your dead pixel unit then the retailer sure as heck can do it too, especially if you paid extra for the in store warranty
