| | | Opinion on your PSP Allright, to those of us that have the new Sony PSP, what is your opinion on them?
For me
The good:
GREAT screen, amazing graphics, crystal clear picture for movies/pictures, awesome headphones/remote for playing MP3's, when saving stuff, it's simple click and drag from the computer to the PSP, Suprisingly good portability
amazing system
the not so good:
MONEY PIT, but it's well worth the money
easily smudged screen, oh well, just keep a small cleaning cloth with ya
psp rating from me:
9.7/10

| | | Agree on both the ups and downs, I am drooling over a 2 GIG memory stick, and several of the games coming out over the next few months, so agree completely on the money pit thing.
No other downsides though, great gaming machine, and the screen is amazing.
I'll give it a 9.0/10.0. When they can get a 5 - 20 GB hard drive in the thing and keep battery life where it is, it will be a perfect 10.0. |

| | | 9/10 rating for the PSP right now... the screen is great, gaming is what i expected, and the fact that people have already hacked a web browser out of wipeout makes me thing this device has even more potential. I just take off points for the fact that i have dust or something under the plastic over the screen (but i do have a warranty that i will exercise later in the year), EA games are too expensive but look good, and the 1gb or > memorysticks are hard to come by at a reasonable price and are still expensive.
I also wish the device could go a little louder on the sound, but its good still... |

| Those are probably dead pixels, I have a few on my screen as well, theres an article on IGN's front page about them and what sony intents to do to deal with them.

| i would immediately agree with you that they may be dead pixels, but when i move my PSP to different angles the dots disappear, thus i don't know what they are... they aren't that bad, just annoying since i love staring at the thing! |

| | | can i ask question, playing mp3's on the subway lets say. If the headphone wire unplugs by mistake, does it start playing it through the speaker or can you disable this feature? I hated this on my palm pilot.
