i just got PSP!!! got a few ?'s

i went to best buy to get a PSP, to my surprised, they have a lot of them. anyway, the first one i bought had 3 dead pixels so i went back to swap it out, but sadly it has one dead pixel but it's not noticeable cause it's at the bottom corner of the PSP. here is the question, the two seems to be different, the power connector on the first one was on the top but the second one is on the bottom. i'm wondering , which one is the latest? this one that i have is version 1.5.

Skeletor pwns without cheats!
Yea, I swapped mine out. First had 8 pixals and the 2nd had 1 pixal. I can live with one...they are common for lcd's. I have software version 1.5...perhaps that is just the software and not the hardware version? I'm not sure the answer though...my connector is at the top.

Do you find that your right shoulder button wiggles worse then the left?

hey, im getting one next week. I havent had the time lately to go to the store.

I was wondering what internet connection speed is possible with the wifi?
Also can you surf the net now or later on?
Or is the wifi just to connect to game servers and other psp's?

I held one the other day and its a awesome little media player!

You have the power connector and USB connector mixed up. The USB is on top and the power is on the bottom.

As for surfing the internet. It's possible, all you need is the game Wipeout Pure, as that is the only game available to connect to the internet to dl game content, all you need to do is trick the psp in thinking its going to wipeouts homepage, and redirect it elsewhere.. the instructions can be found here

http://www.pspcrazy.com/pspwipeoutbrowsertutorial.htm

802.11b is what it has

Also, you can use IRC, AIM, and MSN once you use the wipeout trick.
Need a keyboard for that?.. sure why not, it will be easier
http://gaming.engadget.com/entry/1234000273034408

And soon you will be able to do much.. much... MUCH more, stay tuned to www.psp-linux.org for details on that

p.s. your right, the PSP is an amazing piece of equipment. Everytime someone see's me playing it who doesn't like games, wants to play games, its just that awesome.

anyway.. have fun, and remember, the firmware is upgradeable.. the possibilities are endless...

dude, how can you tell me i get mixed up with the power connector and the USB? i had to plug in the power connector to turn on the system the first time. and the darn thing was at the top. even Skeletor said his was at the top. but the second one is at the bottom like everyone else's.

the right shoulder buttom is very smooth just like the left one. neither one of them wiggle.
