PSP Fireware Help

I have fireware version 1.50 on my PSP, i have got the emulators to work just fine. But my friend updated to 1.51 and he cant get them to work for obvious reasons. Is there a way to downgrade the firmware, i am guessing you cant do it, but is there anyway it could be done?

Can ya help me with the emulators? I want to play all of my old games on the psp and can ya help me with playing Isos?

upgrade to 2.0 and use the fanjita eboot loader for basic homebrew, or downgrade for better stuff.(downgrade requires update to 2.0, remember 2.0, no higher, no lower) go to psp-hacks.com and hop on into the forums. im usually there and there are many tutorials on there that can help.
