    Need for Speed: World Online

Only for Asia first then a release to US and ONLY PC later in the year....

Sounds like an MMO racing game.

if they do it right a racing mmo could be a huge success...worldwide circuits/leagues, different skill levels and ladders...user generated content in terms of paint, decals and parts/kits...hell, clan/group support would be easy to establish by creating "crews" and whatnot...racing in many ways does suit itself rather well to a mmo environment...

but it's EA and NFS, so I have to assume that they won't do it the way it should be done...

I know I've been a bit too crazy busy to look at this, but I hadn't realized it was that long ago. I see it's an available download at Origin, but it looks more like a hook to install the client than anyhing else. Oh well, guess I missed that one.
