Impression of Civilization IV?

I've seen a lot of reviews for this game. But I don't see that many user review. So to those who has or is playing this game, what are your impressions? I am asking those who are not strategy game hardcore: is this game easy to get into?

I mostly play fps, but these days it can get boring. So I am trying to look into other genre. Most importantly, I will be on 20some hours flight. I need game that doest require intense mouse action.

Is Civilization IV a good fit?

Not much on the mouse and not much of anything else I have it and unistalled it after a day just wasn't fun at all.

Yah if you want some good user reviews go to GameFaqs.

And just use thier search bar and read the reviews section for that particular game. You should find lots of good reviews for almost every game made.

But sorry I dont have a clue about this game, actually I dont have a clue about any real time strategy games. Although I do love strategy games like Final Fantasy tactics, and Ogre tactics, I just havent tried any of the RTS counter-parts....yet. Well good luck with your purchase.
