SW:Empire at War - Expansion

After buying the expansion and shelfing it for two weeks, I finally cracked out the cd's and installed the Star Wars: Empire at War expansion.

I'm enjoying it so far. I must say though ... it has the best weapon in a game I've played so far. It was worth the 30$ just to have this weapon.

Ewok suicide bombers !!!

You summon the fat trainer guy from Return of the Jedi. The one that trained the rancor. (I think that's what it is called ... big 2-legged creature Luke fights in that pit). The trainer has a bag, and when he attacks he pulls out an ewok with explosives strapped to it's chest/back. The ewok then runs in yelling "IIIIIEEEEEEEEAAA" and explodes upon reaching the enemy.

I didn't know it had this weapon. I couldn't stop laughing. Nothing better then getting a few of these guys at once to finish off the enemy.

I havent played a star wars game in a long time. Im due for one.

This one is really good I think. I was hesitant to buy it when it was released because I didn't think they could pull off a good RTS, but to my surprise it is one of my favorite RTS's. In space you have to fight for the astroid resources. The land is set up similar, where there are limited resource points and you have to fight for them.

The great thing with the expansion is you can get a 3-way going. Without the expansion, you were only allowed to have two bases. If you had more then two people, then you ended up sharing a base. That was fun, but not really my cup of tea.
