| | | Warcraft 3's a great game if you like RTS, but don't expect it to be like Starcraft or anything. If you wanna get good you gotta be micro intensive, it can be a huge pain in the arse. Most players, good and bad though, end up playing a lot more custom/use map settings games over the actual melee though. |

| | | I liked Warcraft III, along with WC I and II. I dont LOVE it cause fantasy-would games like that arent too appealing to me.
I'd say I like more 'realistic' games, like alot of the FPS and C&C Generals.
I'd admit, I play C&C generals: zh alot more than I played WC III; WC III is a superb game with a great story line and innovative graphics, which C&C Generals would need more of.
I hate the unit cap though in WC III !!!!!!
I love Starcraft!! I'd definitely would totally be into Starcraft II if it ever comes out. I'd say Starcraft would be a great game to play even today, many people still play it online (I believe). One highlight in WC III was the easter egg in which you can control a Zerg unit.

| | Zerg in WCIII? Never heard o' that one. I'll have to look for that
As cool as WCIII is, I think I'm still partial to WC II. Just like C&C: Generals is a good game, but I much prefer it's predecessor Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge.
Starcraft can be found for under $10 generally, so I'd suggest grabbing that, Sixkings. Definitely worth your time to try out. It's basically the RTS that all others have been judged against.

| | Right on! Thanks, RdLdr. Hadn't gotten around to Googlin' that one yet (don't have WCIII currently installed, so it wasn't high on my priority list). Bookmarked for future Hydralisking, tho'

| I'm still playing StarCraft...not online though. I am trying to beat the Protoss campaign and then move onto Brood War. I really want to know what happens to Kerrigan at the end of that one, as I heard this greatly limits the potential storyline of StarCraft 2. (Don't tell me, though)
I love C&C Generals as well. I only played the AI though. I found if I play as China, and get about 15 Dragon tanks, 5 with gattling canons, 5 with bunkers housed with rocket launching soldiers, and 5 with propaganda towers, I would have a virtually indestructable, self-healing force. Seems like a very unfair advantage. Which side do you usually play?
