Warcraft 3 cd problem

the game used to work and now it acts like it cant see my REAL WC3 CD. it just keeps saying its not in the drive. windows can read it but the game cant.

ermmm.. try reinstalling... Also where do u play? maybe we can get together sometime possibly? or even better in WOW?.

it's probably scratched or something, so try to clean it (those brush thingies, some spit on a t-shirt, w/e). other than that, dl daemon tools and see if emulation helps.

as long as you still have the cd-key you should be able to dl it from <insert naughty p2p newtork> and use nero or alcohol 120%. I used to know how to burn war3 using alcohol 120 so if it comes to that just gimme a holla

No, he said windows read it just fine its only Warcraft III that wont. but then again you could be right, warcraft might be looking for some files and cant read it, whereas windows basically detects the presence of the cd.

yeah I know, sometimes emulation tricks the game's inbuilt security features. believe me, I've been there done that

ok i finally gave up. i think its just the cmputer im using. when i first built it. the same thing happened. it progressivly broke basicly. so im back to using my alienware laptop.
