Star Wars Galaxies

Hey guys and gals,
I was just curious if anyone has played this recently, since the JTL. I have heard of alot of GREAT improvements that came and alot more coming in the near future. Just curious on some FRIENDLY opinions. =-P

PS: If anyone has a copy for trade or for sale let me know, whether its just SWG or JTL as well. =-)
Thanks alot.
-John

You can visit official SWG forums, you don't have to be play the game to read them. Also, there is an SWG section here: http://swg.allakhazam.com/
There are many things happening: removal of Apprenticeship points requirement, revamping of Civil War rules (TEF should go away), discussions on combat system revamp. It's all there.
I would gladly go back to SWG if I was not busy with WoW. Not enough time to play both and WoW is still holding my attention.
I know that SWG runs very well even on older laptops. I have JTL but never tried it on laptop. Maybe one day on my new lappie (see sig) :headbang:

Delay got to fileplanet and download the 10 day free trial version. I had the misfortune of letting someone talk me into doing this a month back and I haven't left since. Keep in mind im no where near a starwars fan as many are..so I was quite surprised I actually love the game. The players are really friendly to.. SOE is even giving away 75k in credits if you decide to stay with the game. Course after ten days of play you'll probably have made this on your own still its not bad and you can buy a nice house or something with it heh..

Awesome guys, thanks for the input.
I think the 10-day trial is over Synergi. =-/
They dont issue anymore keys, I dont think. If you could find me a link where the trial is still active, I would much apprciate it.

My female friends all tell me that they've never been hit on as often as in SWG (and these girls have played most of the mmorpg's that are out there).

LOL, The intention to get SWG wasn't to hit on girls for me, so no worries. =-P

I dont get how you can hit on a person online that may be another man that resembles Shrek the Ogre in appearance.

jedi system still irritates me, even with the changes. why you're forced to play characters you dont want to be is beyond me.
