| | | Your all time favorite strategy game? I'm looking to get a new strategy game that will last me a while. I'm interested in Multiplayer aspect then the story. I have almost all Blizzard game such as Starcraft and Warcraft III which I still play from time to time. I also have Homeworld, Catalyst and Homeworld 2 but doesn't seem to have very many people online. Perhaps I didn't look hard enough. Anyway.. list away your favorite strategy!

| | | i would have to say starcraft is the best all time strategy..... if you want a fun oldschool strategy game look at lords of the realm 2... i have not played it for awhile but it kicks ass though i have never tried it online and dont think it would work to well for that... |

| | | The Total War series are pretty cool: Turn based empire building till the battles, which can have thousands of troops per side on each team, all in real time. I have the old-school Shogun: Total War, but I'd like to try Rome. Homeworld also ranks high for me. |

| | | Total War series sets standard... You can't go wrong with any of the Total War series as they have set the bar for strategy games! NOTHING touches these games as they are the most engrossing, all consuming titles you will ever play in your life. I played Shogun for about two years straight before I bought Medieval which then ruled my life for another year. Now I'm so into Rome that my girlfriend split and my friends avoid my dank apartment like its infected with plague. I played Rome for about eleven hours straight the other day and I got so dizzy and disoriented that I had to lie down for a bit...

| | | Although the Rome series is pretty good for strategy games, i would have to disagree that it is the best. In my opinion, i would say the best Strategy games out there would be the Sid Mier's (sorry if i spelled the name wrong) Civilization series. I think the first 2 were pretty crappy, but the 3rd is freakin awsome (despite it's age) and i would play it at every chance i get.
PLUS: I heard that Civ IV is in the works right now. If any of you guys/girls read PC GAMER( :headbang: ) then I think last month or something like that, they gave a short Civ IV preview, and frankly it looks FREAKIN AWSOME :headbang: :headbang: !!!.
What do u guys think about Real Time Strategy (RTS), What's your favourite?

| | | Rise of Nations is a good strategy game. Also Starcraft is pretty good but I never really got into it. I really enjoyed Age of Empires as well.
