Splinter Cell 3 crashes on my XPS2, Help?

hi, i just bought splinter cell 3 from walmart, after mastering the cd code issue, which was apparently very confiusing.. i got the next problem..

i got everything at my xps2 factory default, and the game crashes within loading it up, so it doesnt even really start?

maybe i need different driver?

any help would be great, thanks

did you even try loading up any possible new drivers?

and i don't know if it allows you but check to make sure if you can load certain defaults on that game before it even loads. and load it to all the lowest settings then run it

otherwise i don't know and your're screwed

I think there is some sort of configuration utility as well. Perhaps start that up to see if it tells you anything about what might be causing it.

i ran the config utility, anybody here who played the demo or the full on his xps2 ??

so i can use his driver config?

Read the box some of the new Games coming out do not yet suppourt the Video cards in Notebooks. They will fix this by patching later or so they say.

But in a nutshell, get the 76.41 drivers from laptopvideo2go then get the Splinter Cell 1.01 patch from www.ubisoft.com.

SC works great on my XPS2.

running well at mine too now, thanks guys, had to reformat winxp, but well, had to do it anyways, i think there was to much driver crap on the winreg
