Return to Shadowbane

Ok, after like 2 years I installed Shadowbane again, just to see how it was nowdays. There a new server up, called vindication, it's lore based. It's still the same and the graphics suck but it's fun to play !!

I tried WoW but that didnt make me happy, since there is no real political system....so those of you who still got the CD around, you can play for free for 15 days

I'd give it a try again if you like PvP.

Note: My chars were still there after 2 years !! lol

Enjoy, I just cant go back. Having to restart time and time again due to servers closing was just too much. Had large R7 vendor cities on a few of the now dead servers.

Having a city fall to the enemy is one thing, but loosing it to Wolfpacks inability to fix dupes is another. If WoW only had real pvp.

True enough that it sucks when you lose a city. However the server population on the servers was too low so i'ts better to have only few servers. At least you could migrate the chars. On vindication however you have to start all over, poulation seems ok and you gain xp at a rate of 3.5 the first month. I dunno, but since it's free for 15 days... at that xp rate you level really damn fast...nothing compared to corruption lol.

btw....if WoW had real pvp it would be just perfect. but that's life, the only thing you can bet on is that something will always f.u.ck up the perfect game

There hasn't been a decent rpg inthe last 3 years that has held my attention longer than 30 days. I'm speaking ov WoW, EQ2, CoH,Guild Wars probably a few others.... Anyway the point is that until developers come up with something truly innovative the outlook is pretty grim. It's the same wheel just a different manufacturer.
