sR -> EverQuest 2?

I am looking to create some interest into EverQuest 2 for the StrafeRight gaming community. Beyond EQ2, any other Online games put out by Sony Online Entertainment; Matrix Online, EverQuest 1, Star Wars Galaxies, Planetside. What I am looking for is current or possible EverQuest 2 players who would want to partake in an sR Guild taking over one of the Sony servers. I realize that EverQuest 2 is an MMO that is harder to play and has a more involved feel to it. Several changes to game play in the EQ2 combat area, along with what the game should have been released at have been completed. If there are enough people who wish to partake in this let me know by posting here or sending me a PM. Any ideas about this would be greatly appreciated.

Let's see if we can make this happen fellas...please tell everyone you know that may be interested...Ruxor has the ability to make this a VERY cool thing. I won't speak for him but let's just say he's 'connected'.

Thanks Craig. Even if it is too early to start up a Guild, this would be a great place where people can compare notes on quests, events, issues with the games etc. The only real good resource sites are ones you have to pay for, so this would be a valuable asset.

I've never played any of the everquest stuff. Is everquest II something you can play once in a while, or do you have to dedicate your life to it?

I see people who play a few hours a week, and people who devote their lives to playing the game. The way EverQuest 2 was made, it caters to both types of players. It is a very submersive type game that allows you a lot of option into how you wish to play. Recent changes to the combat system and gameplay are contributing to a playerbase that is growing exponentially. That, combined with stunning graphics and voice interactive NPCs make the game a worthwhile time investment.

Myself and a few friends have a small guild on Oasis. My main is a level 48 Pally

If you have an XPS and play it, we need to chat! I've had it for a year, and lately the lag has gotten terrible. Bought a cooler but no real change.

My buddy tried to talk me into playing EQ I, but this was right before school was starting, therefore I stopped myself from buying it because of the fear of really horrible grades. He's a lvl 70 Necro with a billion AA's. Already in a guild though, so he isn't avalible

Great idea though... I hope this takes off for sR
