GW or EQ2

So I am debating whether to get Guild Wars or EverQuest2. I've never played either, but from what I've heard from many people, they are both great games. Right now, I am leaning more towards GW, only because there is no monthly fee like EQ2. But, if anyone has played both of them, please let me know which one you would reccomend more (graphics, gameplay, etc.).

the graphics of EQ2 are sick, but guildwars's being free, along with its great gameplay have me leaning towards guildwars as well.

I am a fan of Guildwars, I play a lot. Your friend play GW or everquest? all my co-workers play Guildwars so it's fun to meet online and play on the same guild with capes and everything.

Gw is different in many aspect from Everquest, from my point of view they dont even compare. One thing that never stop to amaze me with Guildwars it's the stability on my system, I run at allmost max setting on my laptop, it goes strait trought my router and NEVER have any problem. GW CAN be played on a dial up, streaming download is easy on bandwith.

try it and if you dont like it just sell your serial number on the web, will be harder to sell a Everquest account if you dont like like it.

I agree the two games cannot be compared. Playing with people you know will make any game more enjoyable. I do not agree with the selling of accounts however as I am sure GW has some sort of EULA against it. I know SOE does and to me it is just like hacking.

My point when I said it would be more easy to sell is that there is no "credit card" related to the acount of Guildwars. I am not a expert in pc games "rights" and "exchange" but to me Guildwars is just like any standard game you buy or sell. The difference is that you can download the client for free and buy a serial from someone.

Me I play with two accounts, mine and the one from my brother, I use two caracter from his acount because all the 4 are allready taken from my acount. he dont play alot and for him only 2 caracter is enough.

BTW: we cant play together on the SAME account at the SAME time....

Thanks for the help guys, I think im going to get GW, and if I don't like it, if its not breaking any laws or anything, I will sell the serial.
