so civil war re-enactors are larps?

i think its a pretty cool hobby actually. my friends dad was a confederate reenactor, he had a bunch of cannons and rifles that were restored and still worked and he even learned how to cook alot of the stuff they used to eat back in that time period. its more like being a history buff than being a nerd imo.

to make the distinction, larping is dungeons and dragons in real life, with fake swords and crazy costumes. you need to be a few fries short of a happy meal to participate (my above posts are jokes fyi).

re-enactors are actually pretty cool and it has less to do with what happens and more to do with the atmosphere and rememberance.
