I'm looking forward to this , hopefully without the insane difficulty in the later levels like the last one if you didn't go the full on tank route.

I gave up on Elder Scrolls after Morrowind took me over a year and a half of casual gaming to finish the main game and start on one of the expansions. I never got far in either expansion, but Skyrim does looks mad cool.

oblivion was great. the only gripe i had about it was the oblivion realm itself. the dungeons are all basically the same. once you clear them for the 150th time, it gets too repetitive. that's what killed it for me, I couldn't take doing the same thing any more

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Trailer

I remember Oblivion taking me a long time to finish, especially with allies getting in the way and being hit during the last battle... I kept losing my Knights of the Nine armour and having to reload. I modded the hell out of that game with things like natural environments, face mods and housing etc. Was a blast. I hope Skyrim's mods are equally epic.

another reason for me not to buy but possibly for others to actually buy it. unlimited replay value?
