if you can lock the refresh rate to your fps you should be fine, does it work that way?

I have a 660 GTX Ti, ran #2 OK, not sure if would run #3 okay

Depends if you mean lock it with vsync or just cap it. Either way there's not really any available hardware to give constant 144 fps with the game. Motion in general looks better no matter what on the high refresh monitors, this is just me wanting to have my cake and eat it.

Witcher 3 is more hardware intensive, although I never played the first 2. But you should be fine with a 660 on medium/high depending how picky you are with framerate. I'm running on a radeon 7950 which is about equivalent to yours.

The Girl's running it on her GTX-960 with everything on Ultra, but she's not running the nVidia hair thing. It looks amazing. Consistant 55-60fps.

haha the nVidia hair thing. Did it have a steep performance cost or she just didn't give a shit about it?

If the 960 really holds 55-60 I'm stoked for what I'll see out of the 970... cmon prime shipping gofastgo
