WoW sold out.... wtf

This game has been released for a couple of weeks already, why is all the stores keep having sold out? I saved the trouble of getting it the first day because ii thot it'd be available 2 weeks later, but NOOO. WHY SOLD OUT. damn i wanted to play it today~~

Well, day one it did break computer game records, so it is likely they are trying to mass produce many more copies to get to the shelves now. Make sure to check with all the game carying stores in your area, including unlikely places (Walmart, Target, etc).

it sold 240,000 copies within the first 24 hours had 200,000 accounts activated by night time . i don't know how much hl2 sold, but that's quite a bit in 24 hours.

Yea it surprisingly outsold HL2 big time in 24 hours but dont forget steam was offering HL2 packages way b4 release date.

The reason you're not seeing additional copies is because Blizzard is trying to install extra servers to balance the load of all the users. Once they get that accomplished, you'll see more copies on store shelves.

EBGames claims to be shipping within 24 hours, maybe just order it from them.
