WoW-Beginning Questions.

I'm thinking about buying World of Warcraft since I found out that it will work on my laptop. First off the questions I have are:

How much is this game monthly?
Can you buy prepaid game cards?
Is the game worth buying  ?
Is the gaming community pretty nice?
Is this game addictive as hell?
If you have an ATI Radeon 7500 how does the game play on your system?

Thats basically all that I really need to know. Thanks.

The game is 50 dollars to first buy , then 15 each month.

Yes you can buy prepaid game cards.

Yes the game is worth buying.

The community can be pretty nice. On high populated servers during friday, saturday nights, I find that in places like IF alot of immature young-ins are their and spam the channels with ridiculous, out of place stuff. That's my only beef.

Yes it is addictive as hell. If I didn't instill a good work schoolwork ethic in myself before I got this game, I would be failing all my classes.

If you have a 7500 I don't think it will be able to run. I would reccomend at least a geforce MX or radeon 9000 for this game to get over 40 fps. I use a geforce 6800.

Hope you make the right choice. Good luck!

WoW is pretty fun, allthough the server lag is crazy, especially if you go on a big raid it lagges pretty bad (WoW server not the computer). I have a 60 Night Elf hunter and 55 Night Elf rogue. Its pretty fun, but after awhile it got repetitive and I lost intrest so I'm taking a break from it hoping they will add some more stuff.

they just sent out an emergency patch to address large scale raid lag etc... so in that way it should be better, but ya.... i'm really waiting for Battlegrounds thats when it will get exciting.

Yeah, Battlegrounds'll be excellent.

The game should run fine on an 7500; they designed it to be compatible with lots of different hardware, and the minimum requirements are really quite low. Granted, maxed out settings require a bit more, but, really, what do those matter?

Thanks for all the replies. Glad that I know for a fact that it will run on a thinkpad a31. I think I might wait until battlegrounds comes out...What do you think?

well battlegrounds (especially the one they are releasing first) is designed for high level characters like lvl 60. It's an end game feature. You may be able to join in but it will be with a smaller roll and probably won't be as fun or interesting.
