Assassin's creed breaks 2.5 mil.

Yeah, its true. Assasin's creed has now sold 2.5 million copies of the game in three months. Imagine how many will be sold after the holidays.

What is considered a "successful" game?

Is it 1 million copies sold? 2 million?

Obviously the development and advertising costs factor in, but generally speaking?

I don't need to read the message boards. I've played the crap out of it and it's a solid and awesome game. Sure it has some quirks, but all the other features of it make up for that.

If you actually take your time, and enjoy stealth action games... you will see that it's damn awesome.

I hope you've actually played it, and are not just going off what a bunch of morons on an internet forum are bitching about.

And this is why the internet is bad, before you actually had to play the games and make your own informed decision or whether it was good or not, but today you can read someone else's opinion and regurgitate their thoughts as your own. Kudos to you for following the crowd, I'm sure it will lead you down a very disappointing path.

Oh and the game is good, not great but I'm sure 2.5 million copies sold can spur the developers to make it better.

Throw in some collector cards with Jade Raymond's pics on them and I can guarantee you they'll sell more.

lol don't downplay it by saying "quirks" it has some serious issues. I did play it until I couldn't go past a certain point (because of it locking up/freezing) but now that there is a new patch I may try it again. By the way, it is a very good game, but some of the issues are just "wtf"

Taxi I don't base it off the forums opinions, I was just stating that due to the mass influx of people who have had issues with the game. I rarely saw any threads complaining about other games that's why.
