Cas latency doesn't mean jack shit when you get up in higher speeds. As your speed goes higher so does your latency. (don't believe me? check the latency of ddr3 vs ddr2 vs ddr) The faster the ram the less the latency matters. Unless you are one who only believes in sheer numbers and real world performance doesn't mean jack shit to you. Have fun

Well you also need to take into consideration that you will be running at more than double the speed of your DDR 400 plus the extra cache, so the latency is not as big of a factor
