Is that worth it to buy? I mean, supposing I wanted to go buy a mobo and wolfdale or Q6600 mobo/cpu combo, would this memory drop right into about any of them?

The Majority of those mobo's would be ddr2 compatible .... if you are unsure just double check the specs. Also be warned the modules will not run at the advertised speeds until you change the dividers in your motherboards bios. Until then the memory will run at the speed of your fsb x 2 or 533 for the Q6600

Cas Latency 5

that looks like it sucks? My DDR 400mhz memory has CAS Latency of 2! is that just because this is running so GD fast? I'm not sure what the best real-world CAS is for DDR2.. but this seems high

wick3dsick23 loves playing with their D-key!
Newegg wins......almost always.

Btw Vega, that CAS Latency is standard for DDR2. It is one reason that I have been reluctant to give up my skt 939 system. I keep it around as my overclocking machine =)
