Yeah, I just started it recently and was getting "skeletons" and invisible bodies. In OpenGL and Open3D turn both toward full Performance, BUT , be sure Wait for Vert Sync is DEFAULT ON or APPLICATION PREFERENCE. Set Screen Res and Game Res to 800x600. And I think you have to turn off Soft Shadow in game settings. Also, I went into Controls and set Cursor to Mouse Look, I think. Then, to get the cursor to show up in the game you right-click, move it over what you want, and left-click. As always, turn off your background apps before starting the game. It's a pretty neat game with a great story line and I'm enjoying it. The combat mode is a little weird, but whatever.

I don't mean to be too negative, but what sort of question is this? Try being a bit more specific if you want any useful answers.

FWIW, my desktop ran KoTOR like a dream, one of my laptops couldn't run it all, and the other ran it really badly. So yes, I've had problems running KoTOR. Did that help?

I have been havin major game crash issues on my 8887...
Near as I can tell I am having the save game overwrite bug that has been discussed in the Bioware forums as of late. Lucasasrts is claiming it is a video card issue but the crash is caused whenever the game (or you) attempts to overwite an existing save game. Hmmm... The program stops responding and you crash to desktop. (Others have had even stranger errors) I have put KOTOR on hold until they patch up (hopefully this month) and see how it goes.

That overwrite of existing saved games seems familiar to me, I think I had a similar problem with Jedi Outcast, so it could simply be the program

I haven't had that problem. I use QuickSave a lot (F4) or New Slot Save (and delete old slots when I'm sure I'm not going back). Since my initial tuning the game runs better than DeusEx, which I'm doing now also.
