    uploading images?

I am using FRAPS to take screen shots, when i go to upload them to sR it tells me its an invaild image? If i go into ms paint and shrink the size then it will upload but you can not read anything in the picture. Any advice or information will be much appreciated.

what yank is saying is that any screenshot you take should fit.
what file type does your program save your screenshots as?
if its not the ones sR supports then dont use mspaint. find another program that can save it as a supported file type because file size shouldnt be an issue.

You could use some image editing software to convert the .bmp files to .jpeg. That should be enough compression to allow you to upload them without drastically changing the image size.

In-game screenshots work best. F5, and it's saved to your cstrike\screenshots folder. You can change some of the screenshot settings (JPEG quality for example). I think you'll find that info in Yankee's Source 101.
