    Crosshair Size

I noticed in screenshots some of you guys who do pretty well still use big / default sized crosshairs.

For awhile I've used the smallest crosshair size possible which is only a few pixels, which is nice to get headshots on people at a distance.

I'm curious though, those of you who use default or non-tiny crosshairs... how do you still effectively aim for the head? Are you aiming with the tip of one of the crosshair's lines or something?

Thought I'd throw that out there. Thanks all.

I use the smallest xhair size and dont know how people use the default or really large ones...I remember back when I first started playing source with huge xhairs...I had to crouch for my xhairs to close in on the guys head, but by the time the xhairs did that, i got pwnt. Any secrets on how to use a big xhair?

'Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
'That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the Cat.
'I don't much care where --' said Alice.
'Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.
'--so long as I get somewhere,' Alice added as an explanation.

i use the smallest size also, but there are pros and cons. For example, when I aim in the snow in cs_office, it is very hard to see the small crosshair, but when I shoot, it doesn't spread out as much (since it is small), so it gives me a sense of precision when I am shooting.

in dust2 its very hard using the small crosshair when you're looking at the wall.. but if you get used to the small crosshair, you can learn to noscope awp/scout ftw! with precise aiming.

I used the auto-size crosshair for a long time.. just aim with the top of the +.. but just slightly under it.. and BOOM! Head shot!
