    What happened to Roto?

I have had an itch to play the roto server, but can't seem to find it. Maybe I am just blind? I didn't see any forums about it, and no one that I have talked to seems to know what happened. Just wondering if/when it will be up again.
    Thanks,
    -Wicked-

I've been hearing about it, there is a thread, but the IP says TBD. I swear I saw the IP earlier today when I was browsing. People have been playing, so it myst have been D'd already.

It's not showing up in my favorites either. Probably down for maintenance.

EDIT: I see where it used to say the IP on the forums, that it now says "TBD" like Lahdoz mentioned. Maybe changing boxes or something. Hopefully it's back up soon.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Sadly the folks who were providing us this server in exchange for some advertising have decided to change dedicated server hosts and were going to be out of commission for a while.

I'm always against deals like this for exactly this reason.

We're discussing what we could do to get a Roto server back up but haven't made any decisions just yet. Just know that no one wants a Roto around here more than me and that we'll know something soon either way.

personally I'd rather we had one kick ass high tic 32 man rotation than all three servers we have now...but I'm not in charge of this place, you guys are...so we'll feel out what the members think on the topic.

I really need to look into requirements for a good game server. I actually have a data center, and probably have a good enough server to spare. I've just never administered a game server. Currently I am only hosting mail, off-site backup servers, including live ones, and am getting ready to do a little site hosting. I'm small scale, but it's part of what I do.
