    COD 4 for PC

    Here is some interesting stuff,

According to the June issue of Game informer magazine COD4 will be released for the PC, 360 and PS3. This answers the question if COD4 is planed for the pc. It also appears that the current target release date is Nov. 2007 apparently for all three platforms.

Mainly the Game play shown in the article was from the further completed single player mode.
This mode does look like a lot of fun.

The pictures in the article are screen shots from Xbox 360 development kits and do look quite good.
The thing I noticed right away is the amount of stuff laying around, there are tires, junk, trash, cars Buses, etc.

Quote from Game Informer This is the most photo-realistic video game we've ever seen, and That's no overstatement.

One of really cool things they mention is destructible environments. Saying in, not to much detail, that in much of the game world buildings, bunkers and such will be destructible.

Quote from Infinity Ward president Grant Collier to PCZone about the pc port
"Yes - there are things you have to do across all platforms, but we want to be the best shooter on PC and all formats. There are a number of advantages on the PC side - you're going to have mouse/keyboard, dedicated servers, higher player count and the visual quality is much better on high-end systems."

Although IW isn't talking much about multiplayer, A few juicy tid bits about multiplayer mode were revealed.

    • Some sort of rank up system
    • Unlocks
    • Custom kits

I have to say this one has me excited that it's confirmed for the PC.

Oh, it's not set during WWII? Well, they ruined the series for me.
