    never heard of em.

The music fits pretty good with the video, I cant give as much advice as these other guys.... to me videos are entertaining for the moment, but its hard to appreciate stuff that u have no idea how much time went into it, especially for the frags. I mean Ive seen some sick frags on sourceradio, but Ive seen straight videos of even more amazing play, that you know all really happened in a 10 minute span, not a span of a year or whatever it happens to be.

Or maybe its the fact that I can download and watch a demo in full screen alot faster than a huge video file that is shorter and lower res on my ridiculously shitty connection

I <3 the shot on the guy at nuke comin over the rooftop. Nukes my favorite map too, despite my team getting reamed on it earlier

What's your system specs? The high quality one probably pushes the limits of most CPUs. It plays fine on my 3.0ghz E6600. However, I can make no guarantee for older processors. H.264 uses a lot of CPU, and on most older systems, cannot be played without hardware acceleration.

The medium quality is fine by most everyone's standards. You wouldn't really get picky or notice a difference unless you compare a high quality version side-by-side with it.

    I have an E4300 @ 2.20GHz

I think it's time I upgrade this bitch. I'll sell my c2d to someone else

I've been thinking about getting a quad.. even though CSS doesn't take advantage of it.. would I see any improvements? Or will it fuck everything up?

Yeah, 2.2ghz probably can't play the HQ one.

You won't notice any difference in CS:S with a quad core. Is that the only game you play?

Other games take advantage of more cores. Plus, when using your operating system normally, you'll notice a difference. If you're like me... I'm encoding something, browsing the web, listening to music, playing a game, talking in messengers, ventrilo, downloading stuff, watching movies, etc... all at once. So if you do multiple things at once, you'll definitely notice an improvement in response time and usability.

No matter what, it can't hurt.
