Well, it looks like it's going to be a big year for the Battlefield franchise, with the upcoming Battlefield Heroes rumored to be released this spring, and now news of an all new game returning to the setting of World War II and the Pacific theater. Battlefield 1943 looks to give a slightly different playing experience, with mention of a match-making system, 24 player servers and three maps (Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Wake Island) featuring fully destructible environments. Although if they were to make BC1 available for PC as well, sorta like Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box that would be nice.
