    Friendly Fire, On or Off?

Do you think friendly fire should be on or off when you're playing Battlefield 2? Discuss below.

(while results of this poll may help me to determine server settings, they will not be considered the end-all-be-all reasoning)

I vote for on because if it is set to off people will C4 glitch on top of places the maps were not intended to support. A squad leader can dig into a place where no one can get to them and a team can spawn indefinitely.

plus, real BF2 has always been FF on, at least in our servers.

On for a few other reasons. It prevents people from just shooting before acquiring a target. Especially from helos. If you don't care who's in a clump of trees because FF is off then you just fire aimlessly and hope to hit something. But that being said I think we need some more admins to prevent TK for vehicles and other stuff.

    Even for mines and claymores?!?

(might be the only thing to get rage to stop dropping them every 5 feet)

Should I alter the poll to include this option?

I think the std setup is mines clays off. Probably confuse people if they are on. in fact I forget they can be on.
