    Re: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

I've been playing gungame the last couple of weeks, and the taser is extra dumb. Why would I want a one shot only weapon as a last resort when I have a knife? It's probably neat for the last couple of seconds of hostage maps but simply stupid as a level 23 weapon on a 32 man gungame server. Plus I suck, and that ain't helpin'

One version of gungame had it, and the more traditional two kills per gun switch did not have it. I might be playing a modded version of gungame, not sure.

Anyone still playing this game? I bought it a while back and started getting into it more this past week. The game feels a lot different for sure. But it's mostly the same style. Looks good and runs pretty well on my rig. Office is still fun.

CS:GO now has a Weapons Finishes Workshop for it so you can create your own skins. Like TF2/Dota 2 Valve will add some to an official update.

Have made a couple so far to test out how it works, will make more as soon as I have more time to do so.

Have been playing some competitive matchmaking lately - one game I clutched a 1v4 pistol round on CT side of cs_agency (One of the Operation Bravo maps), then on the T side pistol round got an ace with a TEC-9.

CS:GO is 50% off for the Autumn Sale - can pick it up for $7.49 and Operation Bravo passes are $0.99.

If you haven't picked it up yet or haven't played in a while you should try it out, it is better than 1.6 or Source at this point and is only getting better. When it first came out last year I wasn't too impressed with it but with the updates Valve has put out with feedback from the community it has turned out great.

The $250,000 Dreamhack CS:GO tournament is this weekend as well, first game starts at 4am EST on Thursday and you can watch it at DreamhackCS - Twitch. The prize pool was funded from sales of keys for the eSports cases from the new weapon skin drop system that came out in August.
