    Battlefield 3 Issue

I am having issues with Battlefield 3. No matter what I do I lag like crazy and jump around. I even have settings on low and the problem persists. I tried playing other games, etc and they are all fine, this is the ONLY one that is having the problem. Its also on any server that I go to not just a specific one. I was even having trouble doing the co-op at some points. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this as it is getting very frustrating.

For me the game is basically unplayable even the lowest settings (at the lowest resolutions even). Even with the rig in my specs I can't do anything. And that easily clears the minimum settings (what I expect should give a decent 30FPS constant on low settings).

That's really the only thing I could think of that would be causing the problems. Type in render.DrawFPS 1 in your console to check and see if thats the problem.

What CPU do you have? From the charts I saw a Quad Core was a huge upgrade for the game.

    Re: Battlefield 3 Issue

    Hi all.
New at forums but old guy at TS.
Running BF3 on medium settings, 2xaa and 4x anisontropic
I had chopy gameplay on big servers although I had 40fps with my gtx460 768mb. 1 .Then I added 4 gigs of ram, all in all 8gb now. No more chopy gameplay on big servers .
    2. Next thing is disconects and sometimes lag (win7 64bit) . Solved it with this solution "Connection timed out." - PROBLEM SOLVED! - Battlefield 3/BF3
    3. No ping detection in Server Browser ? Uncheck packet TCP , UDP packet inspection in your Firewall

Next is your CPU you have Amd x2 phenom 550 which can potencialy be unlocked to 4 cores !!! I got x2 555 and menaged to unlock 3. core !!
You have to do some tinkering cos if 3. or 4.th core is unstable on auto unlock system will not boot.
