Teck, it's ill. A million times better than what I had hoped for. I got the Samsung 22" Widescreen SyncMaster 220WM for 200 bucks at Best Buy. I never liked BlackFriday as much as I do today. Eeeeee!

That's why I said if you use an aspect ratio other than 4:3, 16:10 or 16:9, then you can use it.

I hooked my PC up to my new 47" 1080p Westinghouse TV that I picked up on black friday! OMG it looks sweet at 1920x1080!!! I played a few single player missions on it. I surprisingly got better than expected framerates while playing. I figured it would be unplayable with my 7900. I can't wait until they release a 9 series gfx card and I'll never go back to anything lower than 1920x1080.

    Other wise :

Go to the install folder of Call of Duty (C:\Program Files\Call of Duty). And click on the Main Folder.
    Open config_mp.cfg with notepad..
    Search for ' seta r_customaspect "1" ' (without ' ').

    Rename the 1 to 16.
Then you gonna rename the next line to seta r_customheight "900". (Set the 900 to your own resolution height)
You gonna rename the next line to seta r_customwidth "1600"
(Set the 1600 to you own resolution width)

Re: widescreen resolutions on call of duty

I've got a DELL laptop with a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile and I tried changing the resolution to 1440 X 900 and when I enter the game everything moves slower and lags...
What can I do to solve this, or is the game not meant to be played on a laptop with that resolution?

    Thanks

    Edit:

What graphic options do you recommend to get good fps and flowing gameplay in CoD?

Laptops aren't really for CoD unless you have an Alienware.

Re: widescreen resolutions on call of duty

you can play it on a laptop by buying a newer better laptop. even then it might still run crappy, laptops aren't meant for high end gaming.
