    HUmmmm...

When HL2 comes out I will drop CoD. The Quake 3 engine is old and not so good in some ways. I have high hopes that HL2 and am very intrested in seeing Day of Defeat 2 comming out. DoD is the best multiplayer FPS I have seen to date.

IN any case, been playing on the 3rd Infantry Division server for CoD. They use the PRM realism pack and it makes CoD much more intresting. The sever address is 69.93.51.186:28960 and they have a web site, http://3rd-infantry-division.net

Fairly steady admin presance and they don't put up with any of the standard annoying on-line players. Good people all arround and they make it a fun server to play on. I play as Lt. E. N. Hunt.... so don't shoot me.

i joined one server hosted by a clan, i'm at work so can't remember the name, but it downloaded something to my cod directory, and now my multiplayer splash screen is different, has the clan name all over it and stuff

anyone know how to reset back to the original splash screen without reinstalling?

the expansion looks killer (UO). I will most definately be picking it up when it comes out. It appears there might be some airplane action. I'm guessing that eventually there will be more mods, but i don't think it will ever exceed 1942.

i used to like 1942, but it crashed too much recently to play it enough. plus i don't like the shooting in there. its not as easy to get an accurate headshot as dod.

and it shouldn't be. why make aiming easier than it actually would be in real life? Two things i like are the way the gun waves back and forth in Far Cry, and the multiplayer servers for COD that don't allow reticles. It just adds a little bit more realism to the games.

Ms, i couldn't get into that server, don't know how basically. I tried adding it to my favorites, but it wouldn't show up when i clicked refresh.

no but when i fire point blanc at someone's head occasionally it doesn't register the hit. i find that annoying since i'm using able to see really well in games. I got the animators eye.

hmm, guess it must be some bug w/ '42. what do you mean by "using able?" just unsure if its a style of eyesight or something. Could it just have been a little bit of lag in the game? are you talking about sniping?
