farcry vs ut2004, vs call of duty What to buy?

I'm not a very serious gamer, but i was just wondering which one of the 4 would you guys prefer to play? I like realistic games more, not in favor of blasting aliens that just shoot green globs at you if you know what i mean. Thanks for our opinions in advnace.

FarCry!!!! It's got great graphics, a cool storyline, and lots of nasty mercenaries and creatures to blast to bits.

The choice is obvious, Doom 3!
From what I've read about Far Cry (and it backs up what my buddy is saying as he had trouble with it on his computer), it's kind of glitchy on a few systems. Great visual game but I'd wait until they get the patch figured out before I shell out $40. The demo works ok on all my computers though.

How about Battlefield (BF1942-Desert Combat and BF-Vietnam)? It's my latest addiction.

CoD or Far Cry because UT is just what you said, unrealistic aliens shooting green blobs of goo at each other. course the maps are cool and there are more weapons. I am a huge fan of CoD because it is so close to a simulation of WWII. Far Cry is still a bit ficticious, IYKWIM...
