    Doom3 Freezing Up! HELP!!

    Ok so I just got done uploading Doom3, the graphics look great, everything seems fine...but one i get to the Registration guy the game always freezes up...I dunno what the deal is, I tried lowering the settings from high to medium but the same thing happend. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Dell XPS, 9700 Radeon, 1 gig RAM

    try reloading the vid drivers, or updating them

    I had the same junk happen, i had to hit escape to skip the scene, game still frezes for no reason for me later on, dunno what the deal is, still trying to figure it out.

    well i just got my notebook like 2 weeks ago...but how do i update the vid drivers?

    download omegas catalyst 4.7
    However, also try the tweak mentioned in the gaming section in the thread titled (Performance boost)
