Battlefield 2

I've just recently purchased BF2 and I am getting some wierd errors. After installation I try to open up the game but all i see is a black screen and I'm thrown back into the desktop. I've managed to find a temporary solution by altering the target line in the shortcut properties, but now i have another problem. On multiplayer i cannot log onto a server, every time i try to join, i am taken back to the server screen. Keep in mind i updated all my drivers and have a working internet connection. Does anybody have any solutiuon or has run into any similar problems?

Its ridiculous... They're pushing out games way too fast just to get your money and be "in" as a salesman would say.

This is like releasing a car with plans to give buyers working tires months after purchase.

I agree with this whole thing with battlefield...i get a whole system freeze half the time I start a multiplayer map...but once its past 10 seconds its fine.

I am going back to CS:2 for now. One thing I wont miss is long map load and lagginess. Now, if only cs:2 has punkbuster. Dont know about vac2, seems forever to implement

Counter-strike is no fun because of the amount of hackers out there. It takes a keen eye to spot it, and everyone else calls me an idiot when I point them out.
