Well, there goes the idea of the PS3 giving an awesome Blu-Ray movie experience. You may as well just buy a dedicated Blu-Ray drive and get true 1080p output (it'll run quieter, too).

i think it will have it, go to like www.sony.com because they are usually the only peopel i trust for consoles ( i only trust the maker of the console about the hardware)

either way sony still owns a 70% share of the gaming market. cant fight the numbers. theyre at the top of the pile. im sure PS3 will still be sick. its only the ture tech nerds with a few grand of periperals that will really dislike it because it wont support everything.

I dont have any quotes on this but it has been reported that the reason PS3 is being delayed is due to engineering delays on certain subsystems of the machine. BS, they're waiting for component parts to drop in price becasue they cant afford to make these things right now and take the $500/unit hit on them when they go on sale.

thats a nice theory...........:thumbdown ................. and the price will be more in the $600 range
