| Finally made the ps3 leap ...
Ahh, said screw it and just ordered a 60gig ps3. I'm not really sure why since I have a lot of Halo 3 to play, but the appeal of having blue-ray and trying out Warhawk and Tekken Online kept nagging at me. It was also that sweet Wipeout HD trailer that I watched that made me decide to get one as well. It should arrive Wednesday. Ordered a few HDMI cables to use for the ps3 and the xbox pro (hdmi).
Of course I just used the ol' credit card to buy both of them (I gave my nephew my old xbox pro as a gift and went ahead and picked up a hdmi one), so I haven't quite went through the buyers remorse of spending 900$ on new gaming systems. hehe ... I figured I'd have that this weekend when I pay them off. I am looking forward to not having to worry about if that new movie is coming out on HD-DVD or Blue-Ray. Now to put that Netflix subscription to good use.
I'll post my gamer tag in the thread when I get it set up. I recently retired the addictive WoW account for awhile because I wanted to leap in and play a lot of these console games I've been neglecting. (looking forward to trying out God of War 2 on the ps3 hardware, found a few pics a while back of how it looks upverted or whatever its called -- strangely I thought the first GoW was one of the best games ever, yet I don't think I've removed the shrink wrap from GoW2 yet)  |
