| Question about PS3 and online downloads So my question is how does the whole buy a game and download off the PSN work? Basically I want to know if the harddrive on the PS3 fails and you bought some games off the Sony Online thingy, would you lose all of those games, or are the downloads tied to some sort of account that would allow you to download again just in case this type of crap happens?
I'm thinking of getting a PS3 sorta soon, since I want to be able to play Super Street Fighter II Turbo: HD Remix (which I hear is download only) when that comes out with the joysticks I already got for the PS1/2 using the pelican PSX/2 -> USB adapter for the PS3. That is the main reason I am not getting a 360, since Microsoft encrypts the data over the USB connection so there are no good non-laggy converters out there right now, and there is no way I'm gonna let my $300 worth of joysticks go to waste on a new gen system.
Also, is it still possible to find the 20 gigs out there? I want one of the PS3's with hardware compatibility for as cheap as possible, and I don't care about all of that extra stuff that comes with the 60 gig, but I will get one of those if I can't find the 20. If I can't find either locally, well then I guess I'm gonna have to wait stuff out on e-bay. |
