    Sony tries out new anti-piracy measure with PSP game, hits used game market hard in the process -- Engadget

    I saw this earlier. The PSP is an afterthought anyway, this will only make it moreso if they keep this up.

    Not to mention the local game shops that thrive on used game sales (since there isn't much margin on new games).

    lol is it my immagination or are more companies trying make their games one time use now?
    since all this drm. soon they will make all consoles game like this too

    Arcade titles are already one console/GT only, so you could say that's already in place.

    tying the game to an account is fine. but not allowing someone to try out the game on their PSP, or to resell it without penalty, isn't going to do well.

    i actually don't know if that is even legal now that you mention it coffee. i believe you're allowed to sell something you have paid for no matter what it is and as long as you're not breaking the ToS as it relates to one-user-per-license and whatnot
