needs a touchscreen and an interface that makes movies and music extremely easy to use. the old PSP way is now a nightmare interface.

sure, to a point, but a dedicated gaming machine that also does multi-media still has a place. But it's sony, which means they'll screw it up somehow.

Good idea Sony, come out with a second iteration of a complete failure right around the same time Nintendo releases a new gameboy.

I REALLY wanted a PSP. I came so close so many times to pulling the trigger and buying one. The failed disk format and the lack of games I would have wanted held me back. I hope Sony makes this work and hits one out of the park.

As a former PSP owner 2x over, I really hope they do this right. The possibilities of a great machine due to the software lineup alone is crazy. Sill love my DSI Xl, but would happily buy another PSP if they make it right.
