Buell has been making some very nice bikes in the last few years. I prefer the riding position over most sports bikes (I hate being hunched over).

last night I went out and bought a 1982 Kawasaki KZ440 LTD in pretty good shape for 550. I have the title and bike in my possesion, I'm super pysched about riding it.

It needs some TLC cleaning it up and I'm going to start on that tomorrow.

    Blatantly ressurecting an old thread,
I passed my full bike test about this time last year, no mean feat in the UK its quite intensive these days, even if i do say so myself.
I did ride a wee 125 for 6 months or so while i was taking lessons to ride big bikes.
My good lady also has a bike, a Honda CBF 125 very nice for it's size.
We love going for rides around about Scotland, there are some stunning places to visit.

Anyhoo heres my bike, as you can see its not a full on sports machine, i have no intention of becoming a statistic!

nice machine. i've wanted a bike for quite a while, and was close to pulling the trigger on one when i totaled my car in october

things like not having a garage and the possibility of stamping myself in someone's grill ultimately put those plans on hold
