Hey so why did we move the server, and where (geographically) is it located? First time playing on it tonight and my ping was between 75%-250% better. Then of course, because all was good and well I accidentally pulled the power cord from the back of my laptop with my foot under the desk (and I have no battery bc of an old recall that magically didn't cover mine, but still affected me) so it went blank..gg.

it's still in VA, just on a better hardware setup.

If this has been brought up before I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm not about to read through 200 pages to make sure (sorry!). Is there any chance of expanding the server to other maps? SR is great and all, but I'm just about sick of goldrush and badwater.

we have seen from experimenting with other game types that the most popular for our community are PL maps. you can always hop onto a random pub for CP maps, but we've just found that StrafeRight is a bunch of cart pushing nannies at heart

Chocceh I feel the same way, the only time I play in sR is when there are a decent amount of sRian's on the server, otherwise I'm in any random server, usually the DiG's. Custom map servers are a blast if you find good ones. I've been experimenting with arena for the first time and it's a whole different ballpark.

If you want some IP's let me know.

i usually just play on sr server because i find most other servers just not as fun. this community has a great bunch of people that i am glad to be apart of and hope to be accepted by.
