TF2 Dual Core Support?

K so I know CSS didn't support it, but I did a quick snoop through Google search results and some people came up with a few console commands that set rendering to Dual Core enabled in TF2.

Just curious if any of you guys can confirm this. Even though my game runs fine, it's nice to have uber FPS even while both teams are on top of each other with 4 ubercharges going, pyros spamming, and sentries blasting.

Seeing this stuff listed here in other places
FPSBANANA > TF2 - Team Fortress 2 > Tutorials > Other/Misc > Dual Core Support

Some say it causes crashes and lockups (Both Intel and AMD users have reported both good and bad results), so idk. Always nice to get the most out of your gaming experience.

I tested this out.

Settings:
Resolution = 1680x1050
Aspect Ratio = 16:10
Model detail = High
Texture detail = Very high
Shader detail = High
Water detail = Reflect all
Shadow detail = High
Color correction = Enabled
Antialiasing mode = 16xQ CSAA
Filtering mode = Anisotropic 16X
Wait for vertical sync = Disabled
Motion blur = Enabled
Field of view = 90
High dynamic range = Full (if available)
Use 'bloom' effect when available = Enabled



Without the settings listed above:
53.74 FPS

With the settings listed above:
64.35 FPS

It's about a 12% increase in framerate. This is actually enough to make the game stay always above 60. (It actually does in most cases)

Download the demo I made.

To benchmark it, drop the console and just type "timedemo test"

Rename the .dem file if you want.



On another note, I wanted to record a quick demo to benchmark. The StrafeRight server was empty, so I just decided to connect to a random server. The VERY FIRST server I connected to (which is what I recorded the demo from), had a couple people using that Uber exploit. It completely ruins the game. It kind of s hows just how common this is and just how many people are exploiting. Really, what are the odds of selecting a random server out of hundreds and hundreds, and there being two people exploiting that? Hell, even yesterday playing on SR I ran into one. They need to fix this NOW.
