Official TF2 Blog

The TF2 devs recently made an official TF2 blog, saying that they wanted a better way to talk to the community about some of the changes to TF2 and their reasoning behind them.

The first post was about the Pyro's new Flare Gun and how they decided on the look of it.

The latest post is about the healing rates of the Medic's Medigun.

Damn, that's cool information. And if I'm not mistaken, that's the same character who does a hell of a lot of the Developer Commentary; HL2 Episodes, Lost Cost, Portal, etc etc. Smart guy

I hit it, so it's tapped.

about the heal rate, does that mean to heal someone quicker, they should possibly retreat more often and look for a medic? If a medic is right there, no one waits more than 10 seconds to heal someone asking for it.

So that explains how I noticed different heal rates as a medic.

I love how this game offers value and substance beyond the actual gameplay online.
