I admit nothing. You can assume whatever you like. You are going to do it no matter what I say to you.

WHERE IS GOD
Re: The Political sR Car Thread
OK, well, here we go. Every Saturday, Mr. Vega picks up his dad and they both take produce into town for the farmers market. Then, at noon, they have lunch at Ma Tucker's Diner along with a slice of her peach cobbler. Yeah, THAT peach cobbler... it wins a blue ribbon at the county fair EACH year and is the envy of the entire south western corner of the state. But look at my jaw flap. After lunch, the Vega men head to the Grange for a meeting and then off to the grain mill where they load up the pickemup truck with seed and feed for all the livestock. There's still room for a quick side trip to Zeke's saw mill for some lumber and to Ike's general mercantile for some shingles. It sure was a long winter and the barn's showin it's age this time around. They reckon it's best to raze the bad parts now lay in a new section so as not have to worry about leaks come harvest time.
But, now ol' Betty, the pickemup truck is layin' low in the suspension and there's still chores to do back on Vega Mountain. The swollen sun is low in the sky and ma's got a chicken fricassee cookin and my, don't that smell just fine. The Vega men unload ol' Betty and can't resist tearing a few feet of rotted shingles off the bad section of the barn before washin' up for supper. And that fricassee did taste fine! And truth be told, Ma Vega's apple pie really did put Ma Tucker's cobbler to shame, not that Ma Vega would ever enter in any competition. T'ain't good form to be all prideful like in fronts of thems that ain't got.
After supper, everyone hit the hay, so to speak, early. Sunrise comes early near the Pine Barrens, and there's cows to milk, sheep to shear, and chickens to feed before the whole Vega clan heads off to church to hear Preacher Goodall talk about fire and brimstone. And like every Sunday, they'll strap ol' Gramma's rocker to the bed of ol' Betty, the pickemup truck for the ride into town. She doesn't abide that stuffy air inside the truck and my, doesn't the scenery look pleasant this way!
Yes, it's good to own a truck, y'all!
