Is the Beta Server Ranked?

As in, i get a gold medal, a bunch of dogtags, and another knife badge, will they be saved in my account or will they disappear?

Yes the server is ranked.

yes, it's "ranked", part of the beta process is also testing out how well all of the badges, pins, medals, awards, unlocks and other aspects of the "ranking" system work...

however, I believe that all accounts from the beta testing will be wiped, and you'll have to start new with the retail release of the game...

thats what they've been saying on the beta forums. i was just curious, as ive had to re-earn my collectors badge/pin like 4 times. ill see you guys on the battlefield

Yeah all beta accounts will get wiped, Who knows if they will delete them too...

I think they will be deleted because you can reserve a name for BF 2142 if you're a veteran in BF2, and in most cases all accounts are deleted if a game that was a beta gets released

Beta accounts are not the same as final game accounts, so wiped/deleted or not, you'll need brand-spanking new accounts for the retail version of the game.
